About Me

I’m Elizabeth Johnson, owner of 'Dyslexia Assessment Epsom'.  I am a qualified primary school teacher and dyslexia and dyscalculia specialist, qualified in assessing mathematical and literacy-related difficulties.

I have worked for ten years as a special needs teacher in primary education and studied Special Educational needs at masters level so I have extensive knowledge of the different difficulties some children face with literacy, maths, and retaining new information. Plus the different barriers many children and young people face to learning. 

I also have personal experience of dyslexia due to my own diagnosis during college. The understanding, help and support I received through my diagnosis enabled me to continue my education at university.  Difficulties with learning can affect a child throughout their education and it is important that these difficulties are picked up early so help and support can be provided.  

I am based in Stoneleigh (KT17)  but cover Epsom, Ewell, Worcester Park, Cheam, Sutton and surrounding areas. Please get in touch if you would like to chat about an assessment for your child, or yourself, and any questions or concerns you may have.
